My son had started to go to college. He had worked very hard to get into a good college. I wanted to reward him for his hard work. After talking to my wife we decided to buy him a new car. We did the research and purchased a new car for my son. I also decided to purchase some California car insurance for the new car. I handed over the keys of the car to my son. He was very happy with the new set of wheels. He took the car out for a spin with some of his friends. A few hours later I got a phone call from him saying that he had been in a minor car accident. MY son said that he was fine but the car had been damaged. Thankfully I had purchased the insurance and that would save me from spending more money to get the car fixed.
